HK Day 3

Day 3 in hk was really a 'very-little-photo' day. Had a bad start on that day. Supposingly to wake up and meet for breakfast early in the morning. However, gabriel came knocking at our door with a stunning news. Few people down, they fell sick. Think every1 was too tired fr the 2 long days before, and due to cold weather, 1 by 1, falling sick. For some of us thats feeling quite ok, we proceed to the porridge store near our hotel for breakfast. Their youtiao is quite yummy, went well with the porridge. After breakfast, we went back hotel to gather again and set off to Lantau Island without kevin and ah boon. Both of them were really quite sick. Even rene was not feeling well but she still managed to set off with us, and from this photo, can really see that she not feeling tat well.. Me with angeline, michelle and evelin on the MTR We alighted at Tung Chung station, and transferred to bus 23, heading for big buddha. After a almost 1+ hour jerky bus ride, we finally arrived We wanted to try climbing all the way without stopping to the top, but ... failed .. lol .. not enough stamina .. but yeah, we manage to make it to the top eventually .. Rene holding a packet of preserved orange skin, where we ate to prevent motion sickness. Me and huiling, resting while waiting for every1 to gather for group photo After tat, we took bus 23 again and proceed back to Tung Chung where we had our lunch or can say tea time at Food Court. After tat is shopping time. Tung Chung here is a super big shopping centre said to be a factory outlet. Well, compare to the outlets I been to in usa, this confirm cannot be compared, but overall, its stil not bad lah. I manage to get a Espirit Top, and 2 jackets, 1 from puma and 1 from adidas. Quite happy that i got the puma jacket, been looking for 1 in usa, but cant find a satisfying 1, finally got 1 here in hk, cheap n nice. =) By 8pm, our shopping ended. More people were feeling unwell by then, so we decided to split into 2 group, unwell group proceed back to hotel, and the rest of us proceed to Mongkok for a night walk. Took some photos while travelling to Mongkok .. And here we are, at the street of Mongkok: As it was almost the 3rd day we were in hk, and we haven had a proper dessert there, we all had a craving for dessert, proper hk dessert. So we walked around and came across this shop, a very small shop. But their business is very good. Can see a lot of newspaper cuttings bout the shop, and they're famous for their homemade riceball. We waited quite sometime before getting our seats. And yes, their dessert is really yummy! I ate the black glutinous rice with their homemade riceball. After dessert and some shopping at 女人街, we catch the last train back and took the HKD2 tram back to our hotel.
