Been to 3 concerts

In a short period of 1+ month, I've watched 3 concerts. Every1 is suaning me say I v rich ... Noooooo people, I'm not. I'm super broke le .. Jeff Chang concert was sponsored by my dad. While David Tao and Mayday was bought using my Ang Bao $$. Jeff's concert was a not bad 1, watched it with desmond, his bro and his boss .. a fresh idea of combining pop songs with synphonic band. All the pieces played wif violin, flute, etc .. sounded so nice, wif Jeff's ballad style singing. Too bad the concert was held in Max Pavilion and not Indoor, sound system was quite a disappointment. Supposingly to meet up wif Ros and Deming for supper as they were at concert also, but all was too tired le .. so I just give Deming a lift home since its on the way. Next, I watched David Tao's 123 我们都是木头人concert at Indoor with William. Finally had a chance to sit his Mazda car, as he gave me a lift fr Marina Sq to indoor.. haha. David's singing, no need to say, live singing super Power. But this time round's stage layout were very simple. He wanted to keep everything simple, everyone just to go there and enjoy his live singing. A great performance, with a little something missing, which I not sure whats it actually .. haha .. Finally, I watched Mayday's Back to Earth concert with Rene, Angel and KS. BEST BEST concert of all... we were super high .. jumping and shouting from the very start of the concert. And they promise to be back the next year .. will be looking forward to it. The new stage layout was wonderful, glad that the idea got approved and this really brought Mayday so much closely to us. Mayday Rockzz!!! =)

4 Years Of University Life

Just read HY's blog, and thought that I should also summarize what I've been thru this 4 years. Time really fly pass, last exam in NTU was over and I'm graduating soon .. so gonna miss this life..

Year 1: Was offered quite late, so got hall very late also. Lucky serene didnt except a hall initially, so we became roommies =). Still remember everything was in such a rush, accept package, medical checkup, collect hall key, clean up the super dusty room and prepare stuff like kettle(I don't drink un-boiled water), curtain, etc etc .. Oh yah, still got to go take the English Proficiency test as i'm from poly. Met evelin there during the test and gladly found out that we'll be in the same tut group. Met all PE3 frens then, but we didnt get close til later part of Uni life. Joined Visual Art Society as CCA as publicity sub-comm and thats all. So I didnt had enough pts to continue stay in room as I'm not actively participating in hall activities. But really glad to have serene as my roommie. She made my Hall 5 life more interesting, had long talks while lying on bed, overslept together once .. haha .. and having dinner together in the tv rooms, asking each other for ideas when doing assignments.

Summer Holiday 1: Took part in Freshmen Orientation as Publicity Officer and I was attached to Voda as photographer and senior attached. Voda is so great!! Wonderful FOC group. Thats where I know Chiew Hoon and became roommies as I stayed under Yuhan's name. Still remember I broke camp on the 2nd last day to collect our new car with dad. And as a totally new Auto-car driver who havent been driving any car since passing her license, my dad so bravely allow me to drive the car back to school myself, still rem mum was so worried but dad say I'll not learn if not given the chance.

Year 2: Stayed in Hall 1 with Chiew Hoon and so qiao, my dear cousin Yuzhen stayed in the same block. Hall life is happening this year. Had the most supper, mainly with Voda. Must've gain lotsa weight then .. lol .. But hall life with Chiew Hoon is great, had sensitive nose together .. supper .. chit-chat.. sharing dramas .. gossiping .. Joined Archery team and managed to get selected as school team. Met great teammates and few of us are now deli-appreccio members.. and our Mango Newspaper .. haha .. hweeying and chiaoluan, my dear teammates and biz mag team! quite sad that we've built up quite good mo qi, but was like quite near the end of year liao, so hy went china for GIP. Will never forget the days under the hot sun or heavy rain that we went thru and also trying to get sponsors. Went hk in december with yuzhen for a 5 days holiday and spent christmas there. Met our twin cousins there too.

Summer Holiday 2: With serene and joanna, after fighting for our chances with the IRO, we managed to make our way to CUHK for summer program. So glad that I'm back to HK so soon, and met such a big group of great buddies. I shared a room with Sheryl from NUS. Though we didnt travel as a same gang ard in hk, but quite great to stayed in the same room. And my gang, so qiao to know another 2 person who shared the same b'dae dates as me, Dennis and Junlong. So glad that travel to hk wif serene n joanna, coming back singapore knowing Meizhen, Ashley, Huiying, Kaiyin, Leonard, Kenneth, Dong, Junlong, Dennis, Bruno and Derrick.

Year 3: Still in Archery Club, as Hon gen and still shooting. Upgraded to metal bow. Was offered Hall 5 but I kept fighting for Hall 1 which I finally got it. Haha .. i kept pestering the hall in-charge .. stayed with a freshie for half a year until crystal's roommie moved out. And Yuzhen moved over to become our toiletmates. Had my internship in MHA where I get to know Eehan, Javis, Xavier and Spencer. Great frens, always going for eating sessions that caused me to gain more weight and our table soccer time!!

Summer Holiday 3: 4 days after IA, I flew to USA for summer exchange program with Frances, Frederick and Allan at UCLA. Great great trip. An eye-opening experience, seeing the big world outside Singapore. And I find Nature so attractive, Niagara Falls and Thousand Island from canada, Yosemite near San Frans, Grand Canyon etc. Finally get the chance to set my feets in New York City, going to Las Vegas, San Diego etc .. Experience of 10 degree celsius summer temperature, lefthand side driving, driving at 140+km/h .. had the best japan shabu shabu and ramen, best korean food, best vietnamese food in LA. Buying pints of Ben&Jerry and Hagan Dazs at US$2.50 each. Seeing Chelsea football players, crazy shopping in factory outlets .. etc.

Year 4: Still staying with Crystal in Hall 1, same room. But i've stopped shooting as my FYP was getting busy. Had a PE3 hk trip which stretch from dec07 to jan08. We spent our 31st dec countdown in Disneyland. a really great hk trip(see below for trip blog). Hope we can travel again together. And after so many things happening, finally have Dear in my life. Must say that I'm still trying to get use, but hope everything will go on fine.

Exam is near!!!

Well, everyone is complaining that I have only 1 paper. Yah its true, but but but ... like what i said, 是要付出代价的. Been overloading for the past few semesters, and finally this sem I get to be relaxing a bit. So, stop complaining!! lol .. Except those from CE, I wanna say to others, I always end later then every1 in every sem's exam. CE always have the longest exam period, start 1st, end last day. But then its good also lah, have more time to study, just tat all ur frens will b enjoying and CE ppl is stil mugging away. So, dont complain!! hahaha .. Anyway, I realise that I've been slacking too much liao. Less than 1 wk away for my paper. Hiazz .. too little paper oso got bad point, always tink I got a lot of time. But well, I must treasure this period of time .. gonna graduate soon le, no more lesson time, no more long break time, no more hall life, no more skipping of classes .. I'm sure gonna miss all these that I've been thru for the past 4 years.
Alright, I've had enough of grumbling .. hehe .. gonna introduce 2 songs that I've been listening recently. Though its sort of old songs liao, but then really love this 2 versions. They're videos from the famous Taiwan competition 超级星光大道season 1. *Info for those who dunno, the competition now is at season 3 already and this time round its not limit to taiwanese only, there's contestant from Singapore, USA and even Japan. But, so far I stil like season 1 the most. First song here is sang by Peter Pan, 潘王子/潘裕文. He sang a very old song by 袁维仁 called 走了吗. Its a very soft song and I think quite touching. Peter Pan sing til the feel very good. And next song is from Yoga Lin, 林宥嘉, he sang the song by 蕭煌奇 called 你是我的眼. Though he sing til his expression a bit ugly .. haha .. but then I really love the way he sing, and his voice is very 迷人.

I've gotten Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease!!

I was feeling so well and ok til tuesday last week. Was still very ok during the daytime, went to PSA for their Port Tour .. til evening time when i got back to hall .. The heaty feeling started to appear. I thought its the caffaein effect which I usually got after I drank coffee (those espresso shot kind especially). I had Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks as I reached PSA too early. However, after dinner, I started to have headache. This is the worst headache i ever had. Every few seconds it struck once. Took 2 panadol from yuzhen and managed to slp after my fever subsided a bit. However, i woke up at ard 3am again, feeling super feverish and the terrible headache was still there. Took another panadol extra from Crystal which was effective for my fever but not for the headache .. its like killing me every few seconds, cant really slp properly. After seeing doctor, then realise its migrane. 1st time leh, gena migrane .. doctor on the spot gave me medicine which cured the headache after I went home to sleep. Really effective medicine, just need to eat once. And i thought I'm all okay after the sleep, just having no appetite. Til Friday, I realise blisters start appearing on my hands and feet. And I started to have sorethroat. But the sorethroat was a different kind fr my usual ones. Blisters start to get worst on friday night .. especially those on my feet, every step i walk also pain. Woke up super early on saturday to see doctor again .. and its confirmed! I contracted Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease! And all along I thought its a kiddy disease, only contracted by small kids .. But from what my doctor say, adults do get, just that its not as dangerous as little kids got it. I was given just 1 medicine, Tamiflu. twice a day for 5 days where the medication ended yesterday. Finally recovered, but the blisters stil can be seen there, but think they're probably drying up le. Dad was telling me yest's news was saying now is HFMD's peak period, this 2 weeks super many ppl gotten, ard 700+. Not very sure how I exactly gotten the disease, but since frances gotten it also, we suspected that we got it from amk kbox which we went on saturday, the week before our fever appeared. HFMD is quite contagious, so every1, if u feeling unwell, rem to see doc and stay at home to rest. And to prevent, wash ur hands regularly!!!

The return of Deli-Appreccio Club!!

Finally we had our Deli-Appreccio Club meeting again. Can't really remember how our club name came about, but anyway, it sounds classy to me. haha .. appreciate delicious food. Its been so long ago since we had our crab meal. Hweeying went china for GIP, then i went USA for summer, then ChiaoLuan went Switzerland for Exchange.. finally we're all back in singapore!! Too bad Crystal had to work at IT show, so only me, hweeying, chiaoluan and yingxiu made it for this gathering. I was very lucky to get a parking lot, a very near restaurant lot when we arrived at east coast park. So heng lor, normally that timing the carpark full liao. We settled down quickly at No Signboard.. were all sooo hungry by then lor. Everything looks good on the menu .. haha .. mayb cos we're so hungry, we wanted this and wanted that .. lol, but finally we settled on 1 vege, cereal crayfish and 2 chilli crabs... i love their chilli crab, their sauce is really yummy!! Had 2 mantou also .. 海洋的味道又回来了!!! hahaha ... didnt take much photos cos we were all busy eating .. haha .. but thanks to yingxiu, I've a few photos here to show =) Really glad to have this gathering! Though the food was sort of quite expensive, but we had lotsa fun .. crapping around when eating crab .. haha, relaxing, away from school works. Shall have our nxt gathering soon yeah! Durian, Cheng Teng, Ice Cream, AMK crab, Kuay Chap ... etc etc .. For the meantime, gambatter for exam!! Chiaoluan, i know u no exam, but then write your report well .. lol ..
