Busy semester

Took 5 core modules this sem,CPE 203, 206, 208, 301, 302. 301 is like shit!! Dunno what the lecturer is talking about, he is like mumbling throughout the lectures .. and its the 1st time i see those guys in my class skipping lectures .. hiaz .. now can only depend on the part 2 lecturer le .. he seems quite good, think i gonna skip every wed's 208 lecture for his tutorial .. going for my tat tutorial is jus wasting time and very no pt. This sem becomes more busy due to my archery .. NUS IVP and NTU OPEN coming up very near each other .. so our training is quite intensive. Other than that, cos i'm the biz mag, still hav to look for sponsors for our NTU OPEN goodie bags.
Last 2 weeks, celebrated 3 person's birthday. 1st is my dear roomie, chiew hoon's 21st birthday @ her house. Its a sat and i had training .. so after training, i rush back to my room to bath. Went to pick evelin up at yew tee mrt .. reach chiew hoon's hse at ard 7+pm .. most of them were there le.

There's quite a lot of food left .. so a few of us decided to play indian poker, the biggest and smallest number have to eat 2 stuffs from the trays .. but cos time bit late, after a few rounds, its time to go home. Junwei they all were playing mahjong at the lift lobby .. when i step out, the 1st thing they ask was .. lingxin! u drank?? ur face sooooo red! i didnt drink lor, its because of my training .. i feel so black now!! every1 who sees me say lingxin, wat happen to u?? 这么黑!

Next, celebrated Huiling's 22nd birthday near LT7.. we surprised her with a cake and a fossil watch ..
Then is Gabriel's 25th birthday outside SCE GO.. we bought him a cheesecake from Quad.. its very nice!! yum yum .. Gabriel with the gals: Gabriel and the guys: Group photos:
NUS IVP was last sunday, 19th Feb .. My big face score was stil quite ok .. but then i 'cui'ed my last end .. arghh .. and small face even worst, soooo 'cui'!! but then lucky total score stil can make it, my team, NTU1(hwee ying, chiaoluan and me - the 赖 家 heez heez ;p) was in 2nd position for total score .. NTU2, form by Crystal, Yingxiu, Chyilin and Dapeng went in to Team Knockout round also .. my team made it to the finals, but then we lost by 6 pts ... arghh .. so wasted!! but then stil quite happy .. got my 1st medal in archery :) btw, 3A is my tag number for the day .. Chiao luan and hwee ying, I'm looking forward to our next 合作, hope we can do better in NTU OPEN! JIAYOU!

Hongkong Day 5

Day 5: I hate the feeling of day 5 .. I haven had enough fun in hongkong but its returning day ... so sad!! Day 5 is also a free & easy day .. we packed our luggages, trying to stuff everything in heez .. We took some photos before we check out of the room .. Had lunch at 茶餐厅, i ate char siew rice and 红豆冰. As we had 烧鹅 3rd day's lunch, we find it so nice and was thinking whether to dabao 1 each back to singapore for our family .. yuzhen thought of buying 2 cos kaishiun wanted to give one, i suppose to his gf. But in the end only yuzhen bought and she only bought 1 .. cos the packing is very BIG .. the box is so huge that it nearly cant go into yuzhen's bag .. she had to stuff some stuffs in my side and all other into her luggage .. her hand carry bag is left purely for the goose. As i had no space, i decided to give up the idea of buying 1. While shopping, pass by this dessert shop, 许留山。Their mango desserts are very nice .. business is very good, still need to get queue number. Went back to hotel to gather at around 4.30pm. The day before i ordered the famous 老婆饼 and it was sent to us to the hotel at that time, stil warm .. Its stil warm when i brought it back to singapore .. i love it! Then, we proceed to the airport, was so tired that i fell asleep on the coach, but before that, i manage to take this beautiful sunset photo:

Hongkong Day 4

Day 4: Today is a free & Easy day. We will be meeting up with our relatives there. Well, some of them actually 回乡探亲, so only manage to meet up with 1 family whom actually had migrated to New Zealand, and they happen to be back hk for holiday.
We called our uncle that last nite to confirm that we'll be visiting them he said he'll be sending his 2 daughters(our cousins which i haven seen for 10yrs) to pick us up from our hotel. Since its christmas, me and yuzhen woke up bit earlier and went down to do a last min shopping of chocolates as gift for our relatives.
Got a chance to take the MRT .. oh they call MTR there ..The cabins look more or less the same as singapore's: Had lunch at a restaurant before proceeding to their house by taxi. Photo taken at their house's balcony: With our twin cousins: We call back home to let uncle talk to our parents .. after a while, we left house and our cousins bring us around to shop. Waiting for bus: This shopping center is very similar to our Takashimaya: Went for a concert at nite which i saw lotsa stars. Got 周杰伦,五月天-阿信,容祖儿,杨丞玲,罗志祥,陈奕讯,Twins..etc.. Then later at night in our hotel, something quite "happening" happened. This is our room's toilet bowl: it nearly flood our toilet .. but lucky the hotel service was quite good, their repair person came within minutes after our call and they got it done in minutes also.

Hongkong Day 3

Day 3: 1st photo of the day: Went for a city tour today. Had Tim Sum breakfast at this restaurant(Hoi Tin Harbour Restaurant, 海天) at Causeway Bay. Leng Mong said that the boss of this restaurant is a member of a last time very famous boyband, 温纳乐队. His restaurant is also very famous, and yes, the food is real nice. Photo taken with the cab at causeway bay .. basically almost all cab i saw in hk is this color ... not like singapore .. so many different types.
Next, we proceed to 潜水湾 where the houses there are the most expensive in hongkong. The fengshui there is believe to be very good, 靠山面海. One of the mansion there belongs to Jackie Chan. The Seaview is very nice leh, imagine staying in a house with such a view .. so 爽! oh and there is this building that I find it quite nicely built: Next we went for this boat ride to see the living conditions of those 水上人家. Most of them keep a pet dog according to Leng Meng is to look after their "house"(boat). We were facing the sun when taking this photo, eyes nearly cannot open: Jackie Chan's Handprint: Bruce Lee: Had dinner at 鲤鱼门 where lotsa seafood are sold, cheap and fresh!

Hongkong Day 2

Day 2: Due to our late nite sleep, we woke up bit late. Suppose to meet 7.30am at hotel lobby and we had a morning call at 6.30am. We slept til 7am instead, ignoring the morning call. Lucky we set our hp to wake up, else gonna b late. 1st photo of the day: Had Tim Sum breakfast at this restaurant near our hotel, its walkable distance. The porridge and chee cheong fan is very nice. We were recommend to eat full full as we need lotsa energy in DISNEY!!
Yes, its DISNEY!! The carpark there and the entrance is very very far leh .. need bout 10-15mins walk before seeing the entrance .. as we reach there quite early, there's not much queue yet. Its 10am when we start our exploration in Disney. Board a train which bring us 1 round to see the overall of Disney 1st so that we'll have a rough idea what they have. The 火车头：
The moment i see the castle, i was like .. ahh .. finally i see the CASTLE!! So Excited!
The 1st thing we went for is this 3D mickey mouse show. All of us put on this special specs before entering into the big theatre. Its really a great show, seeing mickey mouse, donald duck etc .. jumping rite in front of ur eyes, the show is so real that when water pops out from a wine bottle, there is real water droplets on our face. When donald dance pass ur eyes, u can feel the air of someone passing by.
Next, we went to take some photos around and then we took a quick pass for this Winnie the Pooh ride which allow us to not queue but have to come back hours later.

Next, we saw this Space Moutain which is sort of a Roller Coaster(An indoor kind). Initially i decline to take the ride as I still can remember the feel of being on an roller coaster in Malaysia. So Yuzhen went to took herself, as there is this single queue which u dun get to sit wif ur fren but no need to queue very long. After she came out, she told me was very shiok inside. Then I was tinking .. hmm .. go all the way there and dun take like so wasted, so I decided to take. We took the single queue again as we dun mind sitting seperately. My heart was thumping so fast when i sit onto the "car". haha ... btw, beside me was an uncle. I didnt regret trying it, though its real fast, the feel is great, U really feel u're in Space.Its totally dark, all u can see is stars, but the horrible part is as u can only see the stars, u cant see the track, so u wont know when u're going up, when u're going down ..
We even went for those flying elephant ride which u can control the height, bit childish but .. hehe .. still fun. Oh yah, and the 旋转木马.. finally I get to ride on one .. haha .. There's a parade every few hours which will cause the main street to be jam wif people, fighting to stand in front. Me and Yuzhen were lucky to manage to stand right in front, without any blocking:). Soooo cute ..:
The fireworks at nite was really WONDERFUL! continously 15mins of fireworks .. interested can ask me for the video i took .. :)
I swear that I'll visit DISNEY again!!

Hongkong Day 1

Day 1: We reached Changi airport 6+am and flight took off at 7.45am. oh btw, we took Cathay Pacific. Breakfast on plane was great with a very nice yoghurt which i forgot the brand. Reach hk at 11+am.

Met our dear tour guide there. His name is Raymond, but then cos there's 2 Raymond tour guide, he told us to call him by his 花名: "Leng Mong" (柠檬). He's a very humorous and respondsible guide, glad to have him with my group. Reach our hotel( Regal Kowloon, 4-star) at around 1pm.

Our room is level 5, unit 523.
Its a great room with some seaview and the christmas decor on the buildings opposite was GREAT! This photo is taken on the 1st night from our room.
I like the room. We 自拍 around in the room, trying all angels, finally find the dressing table the best place to put our camera on to take.

Then of cos not wasting time sleeping, we went around to walk walk as we had free time til 4.30pm. Temperature was great but air was quite dirty .. my nose nearly collapse during my 5 days stay there. Had our first meal in hk at a 茶餐厅. The wanton mee was soooo delicious .. cost bout S$ 3+ and they got 6 huge wantons inside. The wanton was v v v nice .. fresh prawns inside! The eggtart was great also, i like tat kind of crust which normally singapore dun hav .. yuzhen prefer singapore's one .. but i like the hk one! Somemore is serve warm!! Our meal is complete with a cup of 冰奶茶.

After our free time, we went to Victoria Peak, for a great view of hongkong ..
Its really COLD when we got down the bus, and even COLDER when night fall .. but then the scenery was sooooo great! and we manage to catch the sunset!
Bought a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt @ hk$100 at the shopping centre on peak. Can see lots of people crowding inside at the entrance while waiting for bus cos the weather is too cold. But me and yuzhen was thinking its so wasted to stay inside.. so we stood outside to enjoy the night scene n cold air.

Had our welcome dinner at our hotel .. They actually serve hot chinese tea in wine glass:
its a quite sumptous 10 course meal, and tat 好姨 xue jiayan appears suddenly as guest of honour to perform a lucky draw .. which i didnt win anything ..:(

Its 10+ when we reach our hotel room but we still not willing to bath and sleep .. since our hotel is very near the habour, we decide to go explore .. its just a 5mins slow walk before we reach and we walk along, taking lots of photos;p. Didnt know that Avenue of Stars, 星光大道, was jus so near.
We reach back hotel at 12+. I was like freezing after bath .. quickly hide under the thick blanket with my jacket on to stop myself shivering. Watch TV til 3+am before dozing off .. heez .. they were showing tat korean drama by Zhang Na La which singapore show before on U-Channel. I wonder how many episodes they show each night cos the 1st night when we watch was the 1st epi til dunno wat epi .. then by the 3rd nite when we watch, its like almost to the end le.
